A Message From Adrianne:
My love affair with wine started long before I could be of legal age to drink it. When I was 18, I won a National culinary competition and its prize was a trip to anywhere in the world. I chose Napa Valley, California. For the few days I was there, it was as if the world was spinning on a different axis – this was a place of otherness and wonder. I got to know vintners, winemakers, farmers, harvest hands, cellar masters, sommeliers, ground specialists, and tasting room experts. I was fascinated by their stories, teachings, and techniques even though I could not taste the wine. Every restaurant I would visit, I’d pair an outstanding dish with my imaginary glass of the perfect wine. The next day, I’d go out and learn more about viticulture and terroir. Then, I’d go back to my hotel and go over my notes. By the time I was able to drink and enjoy wine, I had learned the ins and outs, the nuances, the subtle distinctions in varietals, the peculiarities and styles attributed to terroir – I knew the brix, legs, bouquet, mouthfeel, and finish I wanted in a wine. It would be the perfect wine for the perfect meal. Now here we are, and I cannot wait for you to enjoy A Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. It’s been years and dreams in the making. I hope it lifts your spirits, fosters an unforgettable conversation, and elevates your dining experience. Know that you aren’t just drinking, you are now part of the story. You are part of Napa Valley’s story, the winemakers, harvest hands, ground specialists, etc… but more so, you are now part of my story. Thank you for connecting us. If you are reading this, that means you have a bottle in your hand, and in more ways than one, you are holding my dream. Now, let’s lift a glass!
